An easy menu, brunch, champion’s breakfast or quality fast food, call it what you will. These three pieces of bread with three tuna cans will get you out of more than one trouble with flying colours.
Simple and delicious. And for being able to choose between cold, warm and hot.
If you like your bread well accompanied, make a note of today’s 3 toasts with 3 tins. Best of all, you don’t have to know how to cook. And yet you still want to prepare something quick, healthy and delicious.
Three tins, three toast:
- Rye toast with Cantábrico tuna hummus. Cold.
You can prepare your own or, even easier, buy chickpea or aubergine hummus and spread generously on the toast and finish with pieces of Cantábrico tuna and some sesame seeds.
How many would you eat?
2. Spelt bread toast, cauliflower and white tuna. Warm.
Toasted bread, I want it crunchy. I spread smashed avocado. A few cauliflower florets boiled al dente, just for a few minutes. And white tuna in olive oil.
A sprinkling of salt and black pepper flakes if you feel like it.
And what a mix, ladies and gentlemen!
Best of all, you don’t have to know how to cook. And yet you still want to prepare something quick, healthy and delicious.
3. Baked cherry tomato and yellowfin tuna toast. Hot.
I toast a slice of bread from this beautiful loaf of white wheat. I can comfortably place the freshly baked cherry tomatoes on it. I put them in the dish with the onion for 40 minutes at 180 degrees. I invite you to try it with fine herbs and garlic another day.
And, well, the same as before: plate, bread, the vegetables and the quality tinned tuna.
Close your eyes and mmmmmm.
Which one shall we start with tonight? Cold, warm or hot? Three tins, three toasts that won’t leave you indifferent.
