Tomato flesh with cottage cheese and Olasagasti white tuna

Today you will be in the company of a great chef, friend and contributor within the «world» of Olasagasti: Loren Herrero, Lorentzero online, is treating us with this easy to prepare recipe, even though cooking doesn´t appeal to you that much.

This is my first collaboration in this blog, where I usually help Marta with some of the Olasagasti recipes.

I was there when this blog was born, I suffered the labour like a mother asking for anaesthetic at the last minute.

Now I´m proud of it and of Marta and I love it just as it were mine.

Here is  my  suggestion:

– 50  grams of cottage cheese.
– 2 tomatoes 
– 1  tin of «Bonito del Norte Olasagasti-White Tuna» (120 grammes)
– Salt, extra virgin olive oil, ground pepper.

For this recipe we have used the flesh of the tomatoes.
First, we have sprinkled some salt on them, left them in one plate and poured some olive oil on top .
Then, we have used the rest of the ingredients. After cutting  the cottage cheese in dice, added  it on to the tomatoes. Strained the tuna and placed it on top of the tomatoes and the cheese dice.
The only ingredients required to taste  this wonderful dish are… salt and pepper.

A real delicatessen!


A lovely idea for a complete meal. Don´t forget the bread because the sauce is a must!!
